Find Your Creative People at Murasaki’s November Artist Alley
Free November 21 event invites the community to meet local artists and discover a welcoming gathering space in Palm Desert
PALM DESERT, Calif. — Finding your people can start with a shared interest, a sketchbook, or a conversation about your favorite manga. On Saturday, November 21, from 1 to 5 p.m., Murasaki Kakurega Manga Lounge invites the community to Artist Alley—an afternoon of local art, creative connections, and room to be yourself. Admission is free.
For anyone still looking for a creative community, Artist Alley offers an easy place to begin. Come with friends or come on your own. Meet artists, ask about their work, discover something you love, and spend time around people who enjoy making things and sharing their interests.
Surrounded by manga, comic books, video games, crafting supplies, and ramen, Murasaki’s “Purple Hideout” brings a playful setting to the experience. Visitors can browse and purchase work directly from local artists and makers while getting to know the people behind it. Boba in matcha, horchata, and taro flavors will also be available for purchase.
November’s participating artists include:
Jose — @flamingskullrex
Manuel — @mannysfunkylookinart
Artists from @7fingerstradingco
Patrick — @bigpat820
Erik Heckert Design
Chase — @imminentbox
Artist Alley gives local creatives a place to share and sell their work, build relationships, and connect with an audience. For visitors, it is a chance to support local talent and discover a community space they may want to return to.
Artists interested in participating can register online or on the day of the event, subject to availability. The participation fee is $30, and the lounge accommodates up to 10 artist tables.
